Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
Sabatier Galerie und Kunsthandel GmbH & Co. KG (“Sabatier”, “the Gallery”, “we”) is committed to making its websites www.sabatier.de and www.petrus-wandrey.com (the “Websites”) accessible to as many people as possible, including visitors with visual, auditory, motor or cognitive impairments. We regard accessibility not as a formality but as part of the courtesy and clarity we owe to everyone who takes an interest in the works we present.
2. Standard we aim for
We aim to align the Websites with the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA, and with the European harmonised standard EN 301 549, which underpins the requirements of the European Accessibility Act as implemented in Germany by the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG). Where a legal obligation to meet these requirements applies to us, we treat conformance as binding; where it does not, we adopt the same standard voluntarily as a matter of good practice.
3. Measures we take
In pursuit of an accessible presentation, we work towards clear and consistent navigation, meaningful text alternatives for images of works and other non-text content, sufficient contrast between text and background, legible typography that responds to enlargement, a logical reading and focus order for keyboard use, descriptive links and page titles, and content that can be operated without reliance on colour or fine motor precision alone. Accessibility is considered when we add or revise content and when we present new works and exhibitions.
4. Technical basis and its limits
The Websites are created and hosted on the Wix platform. Certain aspects of the underlying framework, of third-party components embedded in the pages, and of the presentation of visual artworks are determined by that platform and are only partly within our control. Detailed, high-resolution images of works of art, by their nature, cannot always convey through text alternatives every quality that the eye perceives; where this is so, we invite you to contact us for a fuller description. We continue to work with the possibilities the platform offers to reduce barriers over time.
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas that may present barriers include older images or documents lacking complete text alternatives, embedded third-party content whose accessibility we do not control, and certain interactive or decorative elements. We are addressing these progressively. This statement will be updated as improvements are made.
6. Feedback and contact
If you encounter a barrier on our Websites, need information in an alternative format, or wish to enquire about a work in a way that suits your needs, please tell us. We will do our best to help and to remedy the barrier. Please contact:

We will gladly provide the relevant details on request.
8. Status of this statement
This statement reflects the state of our Websites as assessed by us on 13 July 2026 and is based on our own review. It will be revised as the Websites evolve and as accessibility is further improved.
